After successful registration, you can search for RetroArch in the store or use this link to go to the appropriate page. Here you can register and download the client. You will need a Steam account and Steam Client. There is a stable version of each release in our Steam version. RetroArch on Snapcraft: sudo snap install retroarch The Mupen64plus core requires more memory to be allocated than Hbmenu currently allows for. The main reasons for using this are: Being able to launch RetroArch straight from the main menu instead of having to boot Hbmenu first. Update to the latest stable: flatpak update -user Snap (installs latest stable by default nightlies are available in the "edge" channel) We now provide an NSP file for Switch straight from our Download page. RetroArch on Flathub: flatpak remote-add -user -if-not-exists flathub flatpak install -user flathub Git version: yaourt -Sy retroarch-git Flatpak Stable version: sudo pacman -Sy retroarch In case you only want to build one and/or more cores instead of all, you can specify the cores you want to build using the commands below. git clone and cd into the base directory, then run: make -f Makefile.libnx. Testing version (RetroArch nightly builds (Git)): sudo add-apt-repository ppa:libretro/testing & sudo apt-get update & sudo apt-get install retroarch Arch Linux The easiest way to build all the cores (for Switch) is to use libretro-super. Stable version (RetroArch stable version): sudo add-apt-repository ppa:libretro/stable & sudo apt-get update & sudo apt-get install retroarch There are core packages available in the PPAs, as well, and they will continue to be updated, but new packages for new cores will not be created. Some distros patch out the Online Updater, in which case you'll need to install cores using your package manager. Cores should be downloaded from within the program using the Online Updater's Core Updater, if possible. These instructions will install RetroArch. Citra is an experimental open-source Nintendo 3DS emulator/debugger written in C++.
